The ultimate goal of DOCOMO Capital is to introduce leading-edge mobile services based on highly advanced technologies to the 57 million+ (as of January 2011) customers of NTT DOCOMO. Equally important for DOCOMO Capital is to invest in venture-backed start-up companies that will be able to leverage NTT DOCOMO's great assets into their success.

We strongly believe that working closely with great future leading start-ups will also help NTT DOCOMO to reach new, advanced technologies faster and more efficiently. As the corporate venture arm of the world's leading mobile network operator and technology leader NTT DOCOMO, we are ready to support our portfolio companies through venture investment, business assistance, and developmental expertise, including joint research, joint product development, and patent licensing with NTT DOCOMO.
